Jessica Kirby, MSN, APRN, NP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a special interest in infectious diseases and a strong background in oncology and hospital-based care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kennesaw State University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University.
Jessica spent 11 years as a bedside nurse caring for patients in pediatrics, oncology, surgery, emergency and trauma services, medical-surgical care and other hospital settings. She transitioned to infectious disease in 2019, where she has cared for patients with a variety of acute and chronic infections. Her clinical interests include HIV, skin infections, urinary tract infections and bacteremia.
Jessica believes in treating the whole person—not just the disease. She focuses on prevention, evidence-based care and collaboration with the healthcare team to provide individualized care. Most importantly, she enjoys getting to know her patients and building relationships based on trust.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her three children, reading and traveling.
